Kenya should be owned by Kenyans.

Kenya should be owned by kenyans Imagine a group of rowdy youths setting a blaze a section of the Telkom exchange offices on Ngong Road, Reason? Tear gas was thrown at them.

With a large population of Kenyans having nothing to call theirs and living from hand to mouth, the country is treading on very dangerous grounds.

I mean people who have nothing to loose are dangerous.

Many Kenyan properties were reduced to ashes by the poor Kenyans who actually don’t care. To them it is better is you and them were at par. You can not have as much to eat while they sleep hungry.

There is a need to make equal distribution and management of resources and wealth in Kenya.

Kenyans who earn little should be allowed to own properties and interests in the country.

Today a an average Kenyan on the street would rather buy a newspaper with the headline: Teenage fisherman fights off a crocodile in Budalang'i than buy the one reading CMC profit up by 12%.To them whether a company in Kenya makes loss or profit it doesn’t bother them. If they had stakes in the company it would be news to them. Even if they get the newspaper later in the day, they would put it in good use according to them, wrapping things.

The problem is for example, when an Initial Public Offer comes up; the minimum shares one can purchase cost Kshs 50,000, locking out the common man. When recruitments are done they are partisan. All this leaves a majority of Kenyan bitter and when an opportunity comes up where they think they can revenge, they seize it quickly.

My point, is Kenyan should be proud to be Kenyan not by slogan, they should own Kenya and that will make them to guard it and speak well of it. Is it up to anyone that has the opportunity and ability to change this.

Remember in life it is better to live a good legacy.
